two upcoming shows

5 songs were recorded last night!

So, after a few postpones, we finally got into the studio to record! The session started at 12.30 am after dinner and lepak2 at the mamak downstairs. And we finally finished recording at 5 am!

4 hours and a half! Everything went smooth and easy except for recording the song 'anti nazi simpati'. It took us about 10 tries to finally satisfy with it! The other songs are quite ok, and only took us 2-3 times and one song were okay on the first take. These songs will be released as our first demo. Fael is currently doing the mixing while nizang is doing the design.

Oh ya, Joe Kidd was there during the recording and produced the demo! How great is that man. It's all like dream...Another big thing happening this year that's also like a dream come true is joining a compilation with bands that we all loved and idolized so much growing up; Carburetor Dung, The Bollocks and FSF. Other bands on the comp. are great too!

So, yeap like some of you already know, the compilation we recorded 1 song for, the name has been changed to 'berikan cinta pada sesama'. it will be in dvd case set, with booklet on malaysian scene report, and stuffs...we don't know how it'll look like but all of us are darn excited about it!

ipoh show!

perlempang?? hahhaha!

well, as expected, the turn-out for ipoh gig was :(. this might be because of last minute promotion and most bands playing the same genre...punk rock. and there were so many bands (13). during our set, the crowd was dissapointing, might be because they're all tired supporting other bands and need to choose certain bands for them to chill out side or just sit somewhere in the venue. So, i guess we are one of the bands. After Freygyle's set, Alak, Fahmi FSF, Amert, Shimi, Ijam and Cem had a long chat about the term "punk rock" and come to a conclusion that DIY has won the battle and fuck punk rock. Punk rock is being yourself.

Ipoh Tungguuuu Aku Cabar Kauuuu!!

Esok kitaorang ada gig dekat Ipoh sana. Thanks buat Brayok dan kawan-kawan yang organizekan gig tuh. Kami tidak buat sebarang persiapan yang 'kental' sangat pun. Just jamming 2,3 round macam tuh je. Maklum la masing-masing sibuk. Aku sibuk dengan kerja. Yang lain pun sibuk jugak. Tapi aku la paling sibuk. Planning masuk studio still lg ON seperti yang diwar-warkan iaitu 3hb Feb 08. Rilis? Entah bila pun aku tak pasti. Tapi yang pasti,kitaorang akan record dalam 10 buah lagu. Mula nye nak record 8 je, alih-alih kawan-kawan ada ajak buat split pulok! Dengor khabarnya band yang terbabit split ini ialah : Young & Dangerous (JB thrash punk), Format Masa Depan (Sg. Petani screamo violence) dan Hell Exist (JB crusties)...itu je yang mampu aku ingat. Bende nih bincang pun tak habis lagi. Yer ler..macam mana mau habis, time setting tak betul. Time untuk kami duduk lepak dalam satu band agak terbatas sekarang ini. Tapi,insyaallah,kalau ade orang ajak gig, kami akan penuhi undangan korang. Walaupun busy nyer ditahap yang cipan boleh terbang. Berbalik kepada cite recording tadi. 4 lagu kasik muat dalam split dan baki 6 lagu lagi,kami akan riliskan sebagai 1st demo kiteorang. Inysaallah kalau semua komitmen ahli band dapat ditagih dengan jayanya!
