Update on Fael

As of now, the docs adviced Fael to get a physiotherapy treatment (not psychotherapy). So, he's in good hands of his girlfriend. In, Batu Pahat getting physiotherapy, jogging at 6 am, and stuffs like that...i believe he's in good hands as his GF is a doctor.

We all will pray for his speedy recovery.

Do sms Fael

Aku baru balik dari jumpe Fael. Aritu hari Jumaat lepas kul 9 malam aku dapat sms dari dia, tapi aku kat Spore so takleh nak reply. Sms tu berbunyi

"Aku nak bgtau ko ni. Dgn ini aku ingin bgtau yang tgn kiri aku dah separuh lumpuh. Disebabkan setengah dari urat sarah tangan kiri aku dah rosak. kemungkinan besar, urat saraf aku akan mati slow-slow. Aku baru balik dari hospital Putrajaya bersama udak-budak Stick No Bill (kecuali Amert) yang teman aku lebih dari 4 jam untuk tunggu aku punye result x-ray. Mungkin aku tak boleh main gitar dalam jangka masa yang panjang or maybe takleh mane untuk selamanya".

So, tadi aku pergi melawat dia dengan Bem. Munet, Ajai (SNB) ngn Gondo pun ada. Memang tangan kiri Fael tak boleh digerakkan dan kelihatan bengkak. Punca terjadinya insiden ni masih misteri untuk doktor dan kami. Ia berlaku tiba-tiba masa Fael tengah online.

Mungkin DDT akan berehat panjang, atau dikuburkan, atau masih boleh bermain lagu-lagu sedia ada dengan bantuan gitaris lain/sessionist (kalau jumpe yg sesuai) dan Fael akan menjadi penyanyi DDT.

Oh, okay we were scheduled to play at MCPA tomorrow (see pic above). Unfortunately;

-Nizang have to be a slave at his workplace's two days convocation

-Rizie, as per usual busy with shooting

-Aiman busy with newly met love, i guess...

...all on the same date...we're sorry to the organizers and hope you guys haev fun. I'll try to drop by if the convo finish early and I'm not that tired...

Band Bio

The band began in mid 2007 as a jamming band playing covers of Jellybelly, Stick No Bill and some other poppunk tunes. The line-up was Amert (Stick No Bill), Dave Danker (Skunkfix), A.B (Clumsy Ruby), and Posi-Punk (Inikah Hidup). One night, Ace (Civil Disorder) joined us jamming and on the last song, we switched positions and played Amert’s “original” song (that later became ‘Suara Kami’). We played it twice and the line-up felt so great that we decided to be a serious band just after that session.

We began playing our first unofficial gig (as opening band) for the gig that we organized ourselves to launch ‘Punkrock Paradox’ CD that our label, Nervhous Records put out on July 2007. After that gig, Amert kinda faded out from the band. We gigged all around Peninsular Malaysia from Penang to Johor Bahru, from small and sweaty practice room gigs to big-stage stadium “concert”. Some other unusual place we played at including at a lecture theatre at a college and also at a shopping complex.

We were lucky to have the chance to play with some touring bands like Straight Answer (from Indonesia) and 97 Shiki (from Chicago). We also had the chance to play in the same gig with some of the bands that we looked up upon for a long time including Carburetor Dung, FSF, Depress, and some new great bands like Lumbrah, Brayok, Always Last, etc.

We also recorded a track ‘Hentikan’ for a compilation under Knot Records called ‘Berikan Cinta Pada Sesama’ on Sept 2007. We’ve been playing the songs on this CD at gigs for more than a year now and glad that they’re finally recorded and released to the masses. We hope you will enjoy listening/reading to them like how we enjoyed writing, playing and recording them.
